There are many ways to establish Paternity even without either parent. We can use siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents, etc. Not to mention items which the Alleged Father (AF) has been in contact with; like soda bottles, cigarette butts and the like. If the AF is deceased, we often get samples from the Coroner or Medical Examiner if the AF had an autopsy.
